OUR ADOPTION PROGRAMS: Domestic and International Adoptions HOMESTUDY PROGRAM: A Center for Homestudies and Placement Services provides adoption homestudy and placement services for child adoption search in Ohio and across the United States. Homestudy is usually the first step towards adoption. Our agency completes homestudies for families who wish to adopt through our agency, or through a different agency. If you require us to do only an adoption homestudy, and wish to adopt through another agency, our agency then transfers your homestudy to your requested adoption agency at no additional fee. DOMESTIC - We complete homestudies in the State of Ohio for domestic placements, and for step parent adoptions. We require that homestudy applicants submit the application first, and then all the required paperwork. The agency requires you to complete 24 hours of preservice adoption training. Our agency preservice training is approved by ODJFS. If we are completing your homestudy, there is no additional fee for training. An experienced adoption assessor is assigned to complete your homestudy soon after we receive your application. We cover the entire State of Ohio for homestudies. We do not charge a fee for travel. INTERNATIONAL ADOPTIONS- We cover the entire State of Ohio to complete international homestudies, and post placement requirements. We complete international homestudies for most countries. Please check with our agency for more details, or your international agency. Training is provided for International homestudies.
CHILD PLACEMENT SERVICES: INFANT - We partner with agencies throughout USA to offer low fee infant placements. Although infant placement fee varies from State to State, and from one agency to another, most of our infant adoption fee varies between $10,000.00 - $12,000.00 because of our special contracts with other agencies. PUBLIC ADOPTIONS - Our agency places children between the ages of 0-18 years from all over the country. These are the children who are placed in foster homes, awaiting permanent placements. Our agency does not charge any placement fee for this type of adoption. SEARCH PROGRAM - If you already have a homestudy completed, you can provide us with a copy of your homestudy for our search program. The fee for this program is $1100.00, a one time fee to cover the expenses of searching and matching. This fee is waived for our homestudy families. Once we have a match for you, we require that you transfer your homestudy to our agency for placement to take place. CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS- We welcome families considering special needs adoptions of infants and older children. The waiting children with special needs are counting on your blessings. Please contact us for information on special needs adoptions.
OTHER SERVICES: BIRTHPARENT SERVICES - We provide services to birth families as needed, and placement of children through our partner agencies. Our birth parent counselors are experienced and compassionate. For more information, please call our agency director for detailed information on our birth parent services. POST PLACEMENT REPORT SERVICES - We provide post placement services for domestic and international adoptions as required by Ohio law, and also in accordance with other State laws, or international country requirements. Fee for this service varies according to the type of visit/counseling/ post-placement report required. PREFINALIZATION SERVICES - Prefinalization services are provided according to state and country laws. In the State of Ohio, adoptions can be finalized after six months of placement. Our agency provides services to families and children until adoption is finalized. POST FINALIZATION SERVICES - At the request of custodial agency or family, post finalizations are provided by our agency. We provide support to our adoptive families every step of the way, until services are no longer required. Our agency strives to maintain relationships with all of our birth mothers and adoptive families we serve.
